A short code is a 5- or 6-digit phone number designed for high-volume messaging between brands and their customers. These numbers are commonly used to deliver alerts, updates, authentication codes, promotions, surveys, and other time-sensitive communications at scale.

With Short Code Voice™, brands can extend these same trusted, recognizable numbers into voice—enabling customers to call or be connected directly through the short code. This creates a more seamless and complete communication experience, bridging the gap between messaging and live voice interaction on a single, familiar number.
